DESCRIPTION:Understanding and Responding to Child Abuse/Harm and Sexual Exploitation “Making Children and the Organisation Safe”\nCarl Collins has a combined total of over 35 years experience in the complex field of child protection investigation, prosecution, training, consultancy and child sex offender profiling on an international level.\n\nLearn about the different types of child sex offenders and how they think, operate, groom and infiltrate, designed to first and foremost protect children, as well as those who work with them and care for them. By taking part in this session you will grow an understanding of the sexual exploitation of Children and Paedophilia including:\n– How offenders think, operate, target and infiltrate organisations\n– Definitions & paedophile terminology\n-Types of child molesters and their behavioural patterns\n-How child molesters operate and infiltrate\n\n\n\nParticipants must attend the entire program in order to receive a certificate of completion.\nAny person arriving late, missing a session, or leaving early cannot be issued with a certificate.\n \nWhat to bring: Pen & writing/note paper\nResource books: Will be issued at the session\nMobile phones: Must be switched off at all times during seminars\nBabies/Children: Are not recommended\nRecording: Seminars are unable to be recorded due to insurance restrictions and conditions\nCertificates: Will be issued within 10-14 days of the seminar\nThis seminar is not recommended for persons under the age of 17 years, unless parental approval is provided\n \nWarning: The topic of child abuse is a confronting issue. CPS advises that whilst seminars are custom designed in order to meet the specific needs of individual clients (voluntary and professional) as well as organisations, that some components may be disturbing.
