The importance of maintaining a child focus. Understanding of the responsibilities of individuals, mandated notifies and organisations who provide a service to children and young people. The types of abuse and recognising trauma related behaviors and indicators. A knowledge of how to appropriately respond to disclosures of abuse and the processes of reporting to the Child Abuse Report Line (CARL) and what constitutes an effective notification.\nCourse Duration: 3 hours (online via Zoom)\n
