SUMMARY:Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Families (TCIF) – March/ April – Mount Gambier
DESCRIPTION:The Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Families (TCI-F) program gives carers the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to help their children in times of emotional distress through crisis prevention and de-escalation. Managing these emotions teaches children how to avoid losing control now and in future times of emotional crisis and to express their feelings in developmentally appropriate ways.\nThe program course is held over six sessions of four and half hours each, with some ‘homework’ set for some days. Participants must commit to attending all sessions.\nCourse Duration: 6 sessions of 4.5 hours(face-to-face)\nSession 1: Monday 31/03/2025 – 09:30am – 2:30pm\nSession 2: Tuesday 01/04/2025 – 09:30am – 2:30pm\nSession 3: Wednesday 02/04/2025 – 09:30am – 2:30pm\nSession 4: Tuesday 08/04/2025 – 09:30am – 2:30pm\nSession 5: Wednesday 09/04/2025 – 09:30am – 2:30pm\nSession 6: Thursday 10/04/2025 – 09:30am – 2:30pm\nTCI-F crisis prevention and intervention training is unable to be delivered online and must be presented in person.\n
