REOPENING of state borders has prompted scheduling of Friday 8 April for the Limestone Coast Support Homeless People Luncheon at the Barn Palais.
The announcement follows several COVID-19 induced postponements of the sold-out event.
Everything that makes the luncheon special will remain the same, including keynote speaker Melanie Cooper OAM, emcee Rupert McCall AM and interstate tables planning to return.
The only change is the date and the committee looks forward to a significant fundraising result to support ac.care after the pandemic has impacted our community.
Tickets previously purchased for the 2020 postponed function will transfer for the new date.
“On behalf of my committee, I thank the management of The Barn Palais, our special guests, sponsors, and the businesses who have purchased tables, provided auction and raffle donations for their understanding and support,” Support Homeless People Committee chairman Barry Stafford said.
Anyone who has booked but not paid for tickets is urged to confirm whether they still plan to attend so new invoices can be provided.
People who have paid for tickets and can no longer attend can be reimbursed or choose to donate the price of ticket purchases to ac.care, with tax-deductible receipts provided.
There is a waitlist for attending the event and anyone who has booked and is still to confirm whether they are able to attend on the new date is urged to email barrys@barrymaney.com.au as soon as possible.
