MYSA is the state representative advisory, advocacy and service delivery body for young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds, the only youth-specific multicultural agency in South Australia, and one of two leading youth specific multicultural agencies in the country. MYSA is recognised locally and nationally for its leadership on migrant and refugee youth issues. Many of MYSA’s clients have high and complex needs including disability, homelessness, family breakdown, social, behavioral and mental health problems, drug and alcohol problems, disengagement from school, family and community, and a pre-migration history of trauma, loss and separation from family.
MYSA has been providing cultural awareness / competency training for fifteen years to a number of agencies and we pride ourselves on delivering information, interactive and inclusive training.
