Presented by Sam Paior, founder and director of The Growing Space. The Growing Space was founded as a Disability Advocacy and Information service in 2010, and has evolved into a group of passionate people with disability and carers serving others mainly through the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme).
This presentation will be an introductory workshop and will cover NDIS basics such as:
- Role of the Support Coordinator
- Role of the Plan manager
- Support Budgets
Following Sam’s presentation, there will be a short presentation by Joanne Marshall, Disability Consultant from DCP to talk about her role and how she can support carers around with the NDIS plan of the child or young person in their care.
