Simple Soup, Big Impact is a community fundraising campaign that brings people together over a shared meal to raise funds and awareness for issues affecting people, families and communities across country South Australia.

Whether you’re hosting at home, at work, through a sporting club or within your community, every bowl shared helps create meaningful community impact.

  3. Share your fundraising page and QR code.
  4. Enjoy a simple meal together.
  5. Celebrate the impact you’ve made.

Who can host a fundraiser?

Anyone can get involved, including individuals, families, businesses, schools, sporting clubs and community groups.

How do people donate?

Supporters can donate securely through your personalised fundraising page using your fundraising link or QR code. To find these, log in to your fundraising page and select Share, where you can copy your fundraising link or download your unique QR code to share with family, friends and supporters.

Are donations tax deductible?

Donations of $2 or more made through the fundraising platform are tax deductible in Australia. Eligible donors will automatically receive an email receipt.

Do I need to be a great cook?

Not at all. The campaign is about bringing people together. Your event can be as simple or creative as you’d like.

How much should people donate?

That’s entirely up to them. Every contribution helps create meaningful community impact.

Can I support a specific region?

Yes. When registering, you can choose a preferred region or support communities across our service area.

Where can I find event resources?

Everything you need to host your fundraiser is available on this page, including the Host Guide, Invitation Templates, Soup Recipes, Fundraising Poster and Social Media Toolkit. Resources can be viewed online, downloaded, saved or printed whenever you need them.
