Since August last year, the Re‑a‑range Sewing Group at the Millicent Community Centre has been quietly working on something special for Anzac Day 🧵💙 Led by Mary and Jody, the group created 338 handmade poppies, displayed outside the Millicent Community Centre, along the town’s main street, and woven into a wreath laid at the Millicent Anzac Day service by centre coordinator Evonne. Thank you to everyone involved in this project - including Deb, Liz, Jody and Mary (pictured) - for your creativity, care and dedication. Your work added a meaningful touch to this year’s community commemorations. Lest we forget. The group hopes to continue making poppies for next year’s Anzac Day.
