Thank you to the students from St Francis of Assisi College, Renmark who supported our Riverland homelessness service through a community project focused on helping people experiencing homelessness and domestic violence 💙🧡 After reaching out to our team at Berri Community Centre, the students worked together to source donations from local businesses and create care packages containing essential items such as food and hygiene products. More than 40,000 toasted sandwiches were shared through our Mount Gambier Community Centre over 12 months, providing a simple meal, a warm welcome and an opportunity for connection 😋🍞 This was made possible through a generous $12,000 donation from Brenton James, Andrew Buchalka and QuickMix Concrete, which funded the centre's toasted sandwich program for an entire year.
